Approximately 6-8 kms of an easy/medium walk starting at the Moggs Creek Picnic Ground.

We will walk along the well-graded slightly uphill track as it winds through the ironbark forest and coastal shrub to the Ocean View Lookout with its spectacular coastal views from the Split Point Lighthouse to Lorne.

From the lookout we descend through the heathland to the Great Ocean Road. After crossing it, we have a leisurely stroll along a beautiful stretch of coastline to Moggs Creek. Over the road again, we walk through the Moggs Creek Reserve to return to the picnic ground. We could add the extra two kms of the Moggs Creek Nature Trail, a short walk that is rich in birdlife and crosses the creek over several wooden bridges.

Meet at the Moggs Creek Picnic Ground at 9 am and bring morning tea, lunch and water.
