Description

Monday morning working bees in May:

  • May 24: Alcoa Lease, Coalmine Rd / Camp Rd, revegetation planting
  • May 31: Alcoa Lease, adjacent to Coalmine Rd and Bore site, removal of a range of weed seedlings

We meet at the ANGAIR Office at 9.25 am for a 9.30 am start. After the working bee, at 11 am, we will have morning tea back at the office.

We had 24 volunteers attend our working bee at the Anglesea Bushland Reserve in March but I can guarantee that there are still plenty of environmental weeds to tackle on May 3.

May 17 and 24, we are helping the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) plant 2000 plants on the Alcoa Lease. DELWP will have all the holes dug and all we will need to do is remove the plant from the tube, put it in the ground and place a guard around it. We would love a large turnout as we have a lot of plants to get into the ground.
