ANGAIR is very pleased to announce two new Life Members for ANGAIR: Evelyn Jones and Judy Barker. We congratulate them both and thank them for their many years of service. Evelyn and Judy will be presented with their certificates at afternoon tea at 3.00 p.m. on Saturday, 12 June at the ANGAIR Natural History Centre, McMillan St, Anglesea.
Evelyn Jones has been a member for many years and continues to work constantly for the Committee. She has been secretary, newsletter editor, member of various sub-committees, weeder, worker at the Wildflower Show – the list goes on and on....
Judy Barker is also a long-time member who has been propagating indigenous plants for many years, and helped our Propagating Group to become established. She sold her plants at the Wildflower Show for many years and gave all the money to ANGAIR. She now assists with the Propagating Group stall and with the indigenous plants.
