We hope you all had a happy Christmas and are enjoying the summer weather.
Many thanks to Janet Stephens and Patrick for hosting a wonderful weekend in the Grampians in late November. They were assisted by Jenny and Bill McKellar, and we appreciate the time and effort they put into making it such an interesting and fun event.
More than 40 people from ANGAIR and Friends of Eastern Otways attended the end-of-year barbeque in December at the Distillery Creek Picnic Ground, held there to unveil the new Nature Trail interpretive signs. Margaret MacDonald gave a detailed history of the difficult process to produce these signs, but the result was well worth the effort. We thank her for the opportunity to contribute to the cost of the signs, and to be present at their unveiling and cutting of the ribbon.
