With the slight lessening of COVID-19 restrictions, the Propagation Unit will be back to some propagating and maintenance work on site. The Surf Coast Shire has followed the state government’s new regulations and allowed controlled use of its properties.

But we will be more dependent on the weather than usual! A maximum of 10 propagators will be able to work outside the shed on Tuesday and Thursday mornings so the hardy might need raincoats and warm hats if the weather is foul. We will return to our winter timing so any work will begin at 9.30 and finish at midday.

Social distancing of 1.5 metres will apply and propagators will have to sign in with their name and contact details. Meticulous sanitisation of tools will be in force.
Many propagators may feel uncomfortable coming back to work and would prefer to stay at home. Others will welcome the opportunity to get their hands dirty—so long as they wash them properly afterwards! It’s up to you.

Recycle your forest tubes and cartons

The ANGAIR Plant Propagation Group is very short of forest tubes and always like more cartons. Please leave them at the ANGAIR Office. Thanks in advance for your support.
