Eighteen walkers started at Benwerrin and walked along Big Hill Track before encountering the mainly downhill Stoney Creek Track.

The purple flowering mint bush stood out in the understory of the forest consisting of blanket leaf bushes and daisy bushes.

The walk ended in North Lorne descending down steep made roads lined by large magnificent houses. While waiting for the drivers to collect the cars at Benwerrin, the remaining walkers walked the short distance up beside Stoney Creek through delightful parklands.
