Due to COVID 19 restrictions the annual Wildflower Show was not held this year but a new website was created to celebrate the event instead.
With a large and diverse range of content embedded online in the different themes: Wonder, Explore, Learn, Create and Play, there is something on the website to suit most interests and ages. Viewers are encouraged to come back again and again to explore the various items and look for what’s new. To pull together the site is a credit to all the dedicated ANGAIR members who did not want the 50th anniversary of the show to go unmarked in this extraordinary year.
If you haven’t visited the site yet, take a look at www.angairnatureshow.org.au,
The website is designed to appeal to all ages and walks of life.
We have created five themes which are the focus of the website and we are excited to share them with you below:
So head over to the ANGAIR Nature Show 2020 website (https://angairnatureshow.org.au/) now!
Make sure you come and enjoy all the attractions at this year's Wildflower and Art Weekend on the st andnd September in the Memorial Hall, McMillan Street, Anglesea.
The show attracts visitors from all over Australia as the Anglesea heathlands are of international significance. The proceeds of the show are used for land conservation purposes.
The show includes spectacular displays of native flowers and opportunities for people to take guided walks and bus tours to visit the bushland and flora reserves to see indigenous flowers in their natural habitat. There are also native plants books on environmental subjects, cards and various forms of craftwork for sale.
This year The Anglesea & Community Bank Branch Bendigo Bank and The Surf Coast Shire are sponsors and we are most appreciative of their support.
The Angair Wildflower Show and Art Exhibition is open from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
These are the weekend attractions:
